South Niagara Canoe Club

Your Destination For Paddling Sports

*Construction du site web en cours* S’il vous plaît soyez patient lorsque nous mettons à jour la langue française. Merci

South Niagara Canoe Club offers paddling programs in Sprint Canoe/Kayak, Dragon Boat and Outrigger Canoe. Our programs are suited to those trying a boat for the first time, Olympic hopefuls and everyone in between. Sprint Canoe/Kayak is an Olympic sport that combines strength, endurance, and technique for singles and crew boats. Dragon Boat Paddling is a team sport with crews of up to 20 paddlers. An outrigger canoe is a racing canoe that has lateral floats fastened to the hull.

We invite you to come paddle with us. Join us for a free learn to paddle session or come watch anytime. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Fitness, Friendship, Fun

Whether you are a competitive or a recreational athlete, in a crew boat or a single boat, we welcome you!

We acknowledge that the lands we paddle on are on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today.  This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum agreement.
