Para canoe/kayak is an adaptive paddling program that offers on and off water activities to both youth and adults with a physical disability (mobility impairment, amputation, Cerebral Palsy, CMT disease, etc). The goal of the program is to introduce the participant to the sports of sprint kayak and sprint canoe at a recreational level, teaching them in a fun and safe environment. If interested there is opportunity to compete at regional, provincial and national levels, please ask your instructor for more information. |
Program Schedule: No practices on Holidays. In case a session is impacted by the event schedule at the Welland International Flatwater Centre (WIFC), every effort will be made to reschedule or relocate the session.
At Coach's discretion, on-water paddling sessions can begin before May 1 and end before November 30. | 2024 Dates and Pricing:
Prorated fees available for late registrations while space is available. Contact registrar@sncc.ca for late registration. New in 2024 -- No HST on Para programs.
