SNCC’s Paracanoe program is taught by our experienced instructors in a safe and fun environment.

Para canoe/kayak is an adaptive paddling program that offers on and off water activities to both youth and adults with a physical disability (mobility impairment, amputation, Cerebral Palsy, CMT disease, etc). The goal of the program is to introduce the participant to the sports of sprint kayak and sprint canoe at a recreational level, teaching them in a fun and safe environment. If interested there is opportunity to compete at regional, provincial and national levels, please ask your instructor for more information.  

    Program Schedule: No practices on Holidays. In case a session is impacted by the event schedule at the Welland International Flatwater Centre (WIFC), every effort will be made to reschedule or relocate the session.

    • Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10:00 am - 11:30 am
    •  Saturday at 12:00 - 1:30 pm

    At Coach's discretion, on-water paddling sessions can begin before May 1 and end before November 30.

    2024 Dates and Pricing: 

    • Spring Session: May 1 -  June 30, $150 
    • Summer Session: July 2 - August 30, $140 
    • Fall Session: September 1 - November 30, $140
    • Full On-Water Session: May 1 - November 30,  $399.90
    • Winter Session: December 5, 2024 - April 30, 2025 TBD
    • Racing fees extra.

      Prorated fees available for late registrations while space is available.  Contact for late registration. 

      New in 2024 --

      No HST on Para programs.
