Covid-19 and South Niagara Canoe Club - Updated as of June 16, 2023.

The Board of Directors at SNCC have reviewed the latest information from Niagara Region Public Health and from Niagara Health and have decided to officially drop the requirements for Covid-19 screening prior to each practice, drop the requirement for minimum 2 meter physical distancing, and drop the requirement for proof of Covid-19 vaccinations in order to participate in activities with SNCC.  Members and guests are welcome to wear masks and practice physical distancing should they wish.  As always, contact your coach if you have questions about your ability to participate fully in the practice session.

Update as of November 16/2022

All programming is subject to fluctuating regulations. South Niagara Canoe Club is monitoring the situation closely and following the advice of medical professionals.  Our safety policies will meet or exceed those of the Province, Region and City. The safety, health and well being of our members and the community is our number one priority.

These are uncertain times that require constant monitoring and flexibility in decision making. We follow the Niagara Region Public Health covid-19 protocol. If you have been exposed or test positive you can find their guidelines by clicking here: https://www.niagararegion.ca/health/covid-19/self-isolation.aspx

Any program that is canceled by SNCC due to covid-19 is subject to a refund. If the program is cancelled prior to the start date, the refund will be 100%, if it is cancelled part way through, the refund will be prorated.

All participants will be required to undergo Covid-19 Screening for each practice.
