Paracanoe is an adaptive paddling program that offers on and off water activities to both youth and adults with a physical disability (mobility impairment, amputation, cerebral Palsy, CMT disease, etc).  The goal of the program is to introduce the participant to the sport of sprint kayak at a recreational level, teaching them in a fun and safe environment. If interested, there is opportunity to compete at regional, provincial and national level, please ask your instructor for more information.

SCHEDULE AND MEMBER PRICE

• 3-4 workouts per week November 20, 2023 - April 30, 2024 (22 weeks)
•  $300, no HST
• Tuesdays (Dec 5 - March 26): 6:00 - 7:00 pm WIFC
• Thursdays: 6:00 - 7:30 pm Crunch Fitness, 300 Lincoln St., Welland
• Fridays (Dec 8 - March 22): 7:00 - 9:00 pm Centennial High School Gym, 240 Thorold Rd., Welland
• Saturdays: 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Weights/Run at SNCC

Sign up for your own membership at Crunch Fitness for 6 months.  

Prorated fees available for late registrations while space is available.   Contact registrar@sncc.ca for late registration.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE SCHEDULE 

• No practices December 23, 2023 to January 2, 2024 (Christmas and New Years).   
• No Centennial High School Gym sessions December 29, January 5 or March 16.

• Centennial High School Gym sessions end on March 22, 2024.
• WIFC practices end on March 26, 2024.  
• No practice March 29, 2024 (Good Friday).
