SNCC is pleased to offer Outrigger Canoe single boats for the first time.  We are in the process of rolling our programs, orientations and rental opportunities to best meet the needs of our members.

If you cannot find a program, orientation or rental below that suits your needs, please email and we will do our best to accommodate you.

    Canal Dragons Mixed Dragon Boat Crew  

    Mixed, women's, & breast cancer survivor crews

    Adults of all genders and fitness levels welcome.  

    This program is focused on fitness, stroke development and technique.

    We plan to attend 3 - 5 races covid allowing. Racing is optional.

    Participants will be assigned to boats/crews by the coaches taking into consideration crew and paddler needs and goals and will follow divisional rules.  

    Spring, Summer and Autumn sessions 2022

    Schedule & Member Price:  

    Summer & Autumn Jul 4 - Oct 31 $120

    Summer Jul 4 - Sep 17 $100

    Autumn Sep 19 - Oct 31 $60

    Payments may be made in installments

    No practices on holidays.

    Full on-water season May 2 - Oct 31  $185

    Spring May 2 - Jun 29 $85

    Non-member price:

    $325 for the season, or $10 per session prorated.  Membership recommended.

    Due to covid-19 variable restrictions and rules will be placed by all levels of government and SNCC.  All registrants must be fully vaccinated. Covid-19 rules must be followed at all times.  Click here for the covid-19 rules.

    This program is designed for both new and experienced adult paddlers that want to stay fit and have fun.  Racing is optional. 


    Must be at least 18 years old (lower ages accepted upon request)


    Spring Session, 2 x per week, May 17 - June 29 -  $130 (for members)

    Prorated fees available for late registrations while space is available.   Contact for late registration

    This inclusive dragon boat session is designed for Special Needs individuals. 

    Family and friends are welcome to paddle or watch.  All paddlers and volunteers must register.

    Friday evenings 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

     July 8  - September 2  $35

    Registration fee includes a t-shirt. 


    All equipment supplied.   

    Due to covid-19 it is recommended to bring your own life jacket if you have one.

    All participants and volunteers must be vaccinated. Covid protocol will be adjusted as appropriate in regards to masking and full or partial boats.
